Julie Zuckerberg: Redefining Talent Acquisition

Julie Zuckerberg is a renowned talent acquisition expert who is currently working as executive talent acquisition manager at Deutsche Bank. Julie attended the City University of New York-Brooklyn College, where she acquired her degree in Philosophy before proceeding to the New York Law School for her JD.


Career History


Julie Zuckerberg began her career in Hudson as the director of candidate placement  between November 2002 and October 2007. She led the recruited of attorneys, case managers, paralegals, and support staff for numerous firms. The positions were both on permanent and temporary contract terms. Her clients were reputable law firms, financial institutions, and large corporations. She also helped to resolve workplace conflicts by acting as a link between the employees and the clients to ensure compliance with the Employment Act.


In 2007, Julie moved to Citi Global Functions as an executive recruiter, a company she served until 2011. She provided a full life-cycle executive recruitment for senior level staff in Auditing, Compliance, and Legal fields. She introduced innovative recruitment methods like social media, direct sourcing, employee referral, and internet search.


During her time at Citi she offered recruiting services for director and managing director positions for CitiCards and a Consumer Marketing firm, Citi Global. Additionally, she led the negotiations and development of complex job offers involving equity buyouts, differed awards, immigration, and clawbacks.


Before joining the Deutsche Bank, Julie worked for Citi Global Consumer Bank and the New York Life Insurance Company as an executive recruiter. She acceded to the bank in 2015 and has quickly ascended to the position of Executive Talent Acquisition Manager. She collaborates with business leaders from Private Wealth & Commercial Clients, Global Technology & Operations, and Asset Management to drive global talent acquisition strategies and process improvement.


Julie also spearheads developments and negotiations for managing director offers that involve corporate stakeholders and material risks takers. She gives strategic directions and training to the team of professional recruiters she manages. Julie is also recognized for her firm leadership in hiring governance and best practices in the recruitment industry that improves proficiency to attract top-notch talent and diverse pipelines.


Interests and Hobbies


When not in the boardroom, Julie Zuckerberg participates in volunteer activities for charitable causes. She organizes platforms for counseling and coaching employees across the industry. Julie also cares about animal welfare, economic empowerment, culture and arts, civil rights, and social action.
